Wisdom from Proverbs: Truth vs. Lies, God Wants Us to be Truthful, Upright, and Holy!

 

He who speaks truth shows forth righteousness, but a false witness deceit (Proverbs 12:17)

Honest people hate lies, but the words of wicked people are shameful and disgraceful (Proverbs 13:5).

What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars (Proverbs 6:12).

A soothing tongue is a tree of life, but perversion in it crushes the spirit (Proverbs 15:4).

Anyone who thinks and speaks evil can expect to find nothing good - only disaster (Proverbs 17:20).

A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren (Proverbs 6:19).

A false witness will not go unpunished, and a liar will be destroyed (Proverbs 19:9).

What is desirable in a man is his kindness, and it is better to be a poor man than a liar (Proverbs 19:22).

Look at all these verses of wisdom from Proverbs in the Bible, wow! We need to be truthful and upright always! God loves us when we do not lie and deceive. We see today so much deceit, so many lies by our so called leaders, elected, government, state media, powers that be, it is sad that you hear so many lies, so much deceit, so much dishonesty, so much coverup and disinformation, so much misleading. Why? God is clear in how we should behave and live! He wants us to follow His 10 Commandments, the teachings of Jesus, and to be people of goodwill. Why is it so hard for so many to fall? To become slaves to Lucifer? To sell their souls to the devil? To even sell out their country and themselves for a little money, gold, or power, why are there so many Judas's today? So sad to see! They need our prayers. May God give them mercy and may they repent before they die. We need to be good people. It is hard to find good role models today, even in elected, priests, deacons, government, etc., so many bad role models, we do have one great one in Jesus, to be more like Jesus! Not indifferent or judging like so many today. We all have a legacy to leave when we leave this Earth School. What is yours going to be? One of truth or one of lies? Stand for the truth! No matter what the world may be doing, you and I must keep doing what is right!

God Teaches Us What is True! Listen to Him, Follow Him!

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

-2 Timothy 3:16

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

-Isaiah 30:21

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true! That is what it says in the Bible, in Timothy. Too, in the Old Testament in Isaiah, one of my favorite chapters in the Bible, it reminds us to listen to God, to follow Him, walk with Him! We need to do this! The truth of the matter is that God is all that matters. We need to make Him our number one main priority in life! We need to make getting into Heaven number one! That is what is most important. We cannot be consumed by the illusions of this world, the material and carnal desires of this world, the deception of humans, the lies, the deceit, we need to realize, greed, corruption, fraud, mediocrity, hate, negativity, and derangement are part of humans and following the devil and being his slave, we want to follow God. We need to want to not sin, to follow His Commandments, the Teachings of Jesus, and be people of goodwill. These two Bible verses are clear messages for all of us here on this Earth to follow God, to listen to God, to know His truth! That is what matters! Walk with the Lord and know His truth always!
