Today there is an influence of delusion all around us, we need to seek God's truth always in all we do. We are called to be artists for God, using the skills He gave us to make artistic designs for His people and world!

Today there is an influence of delusion all around us, we need to seek God's truth always in all we do. Humans lie and deceive, many are full of hate and insecurity with much jealousy and envy driving their motives. We have been lied to by our powers that be, elected, and governments for a very long time. It has happened to many generations and civilizations throughout time and is still happening as we live now. Today unfortunately, many are consumed by things of this world, humans have become greedy, selfish, and consumed by this world of vices and material and pop culture minutia. So many of today is living without God or the Bible, or knowing that there is something greater than what we see here on Earth by humans. We are called to a higher calling. A calling of love! Today we see so much hate, racism, cancel culture, insecurity, and mediocrity, most without any God within, all motivated by hate, envy, jealousy, and greed. God made us for more, not to let the hate, CRT, DEI, racism. and insecurity hold us back from reaching our full potential and doing what God wants us to do on this Earth School journey.  In the Bible in Exodus, it says that God appointed two skilled artisans, Bezalel and Oholiab, to do the work and God filled them with the “Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs.” God does this for all of us, we all have gifts and talents to use for Him! Some of us can write, others speak, others do and lead and make things happen. We all have our gifts from God to make this world a better place. Some use them to destroy, hate, and ruin, others for creating, loving, and inspiring or reflecting Jesus. God gave us Jesus for a reason, He is Emmanuel, our God with us, He is our model, our example of how to live and we are called to follow, reflect, and imitate Him, being artists for God too, using the skills He gave us to make artistic designs for His people! The truth is we need to put God first!

Road trip to truth!

Road Trip to Truth on GodTube

I saw this on TV and here on the web, called Road Trip to Truth.  They state on their website: "Road Trip to Truth is a series that seeks to teach us the answers to life's biggest questions. Join host John Fabarez to find answers on the topics of evolution, depression, the reliability of the Bible, the existence of God, and of course, truth itself." I thought it was a nice series of questions, videos, and answers to the truth as it relates to God, the Bible, Jesus, and religion and had some value. We are all on a road trip to truth in our lives when we follow Jesus and know His promise of Heaven and life eternal is possible when we follow, reflect, and imitate Him!  Truth matters and we need to follow it!

Yes, guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands. For Your word, O Lord, is truth; consecrate us in the truth!

R. (35a)  Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
Blessed are you, O LORD;
teach me your statutes.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
In your statutes I will delight;
I will not forget your words.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
Open my eyes, that I may consider
the wonders of your law.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
Make me understand the way of your precepts,
and I will meditate on your wondrous deeds.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
Give me discernment, that I may observe your law
and keep it with all my heart.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.
Lead me in the path of your commands,
for in it I delight.
R. Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands.

~Psalm 119:12, 16, 18, 27, 34, 35

R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Your word, O Lord, is truth;
consecrate us in the truth.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

~John 17:17b, 17a

God's truth and commands matter! I really loved the Psalm and Alleluia from the mass readings for today in my Catholic faith/church! I decided to share both in my blog today! We need to give thanks to God, knowing His word and commands are truth for us and provide the way to how we should live as we go about on this Earth School journey! We should ask each day for God to Guide us, Lord, in the way of your commands. Your word, O Lord, is truth; consecrate us in the truth! As we all know, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life for us! We are promised life eternal in Heaven when we follow Jesus and reflect and imitate Him and His light! Each day as I pray, when I see the St. Anthony prayer of St. Anthony holding baby Jesus, with Jesus giving him His ear, I think how I want to say to Him, to lead me, guide me, instruct me, and bring me to where I am supposed to be and always accept His will be done in our lives, it is all about God's will. Yes, Guide me, Lord, in the way of your commands. For Your word, O Lord, is truth;
consecrate us in the truth!

Rejecting God leads only to emptiness; He alone is the fountain of life and truth!

Rejecting God leads only to emptiness; He alone is the fountain of life and truth.

⏤ Richard Sibbes

What a message and quote! What a truth! We need God! As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! God is truth! The Bible is truth! We need Jesus in our lives! God gave Him to us to follow, imitate, and reflect. Without God our lives are a mess! We are empty and unhappy. Today we see many unhappy, unsatisfied people, because they do not have Jesus in their hearts. He really makes a difference. God is truth, He is law and order, He wants us to abide by Him and follow Jesus, those who do not or do not want to always are unhappy and have a lot of problems. Do not reject God! He alone is the fountain of life and truth!

Truth changes everything!

Truth changes everything! The Bible and Jesus are all about the truth! However, so many today do not want to know anything about either of them. Our world is at a crossroads of sorts, with so many living without God and the Bible or following Jesus! We need Jesus! God gave Him to us, Emmanuel, God with us, He is our model, our example, our truth to follow! He can change everything in our lives! This book shares this truth and it was easy to read and is packed with some great information. The truth matters to God, and that truth is Jesus! This book by Dr. Jeff Myers is a great book to share the truth of Jesus, the truth we all really need!

Jesus is the Truth who never changes!

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.

~Isaiah 40:8

The Truth Never Changes! Jesus is the Truth who never changes! God's word endures forever! His truth is real! We need to seek God's truth, live by it! Not by things of this world, Satan, or be consumed by material goods, or people who will always disappoint. Seek God's truth!

Today Our Daily Bread said that, "When he was younger, my son Xavier and I read a fictional children’s story about a boy who rebelled against his teacher by referring to a pen by a made-up name. The student convinced his fellow fifth graders to use the new name he created for pens. News about the boy’s replacement word spread through the whole town. Eventually, people across the country changed the way they referred to pens, simply because others accepted one boy’s made-up reality as a universal truth. Throughout history, flawed human beings have embraced ever-changing versions of truth or personal preferred realities to suit their desires. However, the Bible points to one truth, the one true God, and one way to salvation—the Messiah—through whom “the glory of the Lord will be revealed” (Isaiah 40:5). The prophet Isaiah affirmed that people, like all created things, are temporal, fallible, and unreliable (vv. 6-7). He said, “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever” (v. 8). Isaiah’s prophecy of the coming Messiah provides a dependable foundation, a safe refuge, and a secured hope. We can trust God’s Word because Jesus Himself is the Word (John 1:1). Jesus is the Truth who never changes."

God is the truth! It is found in the Bible. Jesus spoke about it often, He pushed it constantly. Many did not like hearing the truth, even the priests and Pharisees who were hypocrites and thought they were above all. Jesus proved them all wrong. Like the Bible points to one truth, the one true God, and one way to salvation—the Messiah—through whom “the glory of the Lord will be revealed” (Isaiah 40:5) We need the truth if we are going to get through this Earth School journey, we need to follow Jesus, to reflect and imitate Him! He is the truth, the light, and the way! Jesus is the Truth who never changes!

The Truth Matters, Being Born Again in Christ Does Too, Live with His Holy Spirit! Follow, Imitate, and Reflect Jesus!

Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

~John 3:5

We need to be born again in Christ! We need to follow Jesus, to live with His Spirit in us. to imitate and reflect Him. To put all our trust and faith in Him and His promise of life eternal. Today many say they are Christians, but do not act that way. They lie, cheat, and steal, yet say they follow Jesus, but they don't. I had someone send me an unsolicited text the other day sending me a lie and being a bully. This person said I requested a mail in ballot and to return it. But I never did, I did not request this at all. They caused election panic and made me call the Supervisor of Elections to find out what was going on. These people who did this said they follow Jesus, but lied and acted like a bully and coward hiding behind a text unsolicited to me. It was wrong. They need to repent, to be saved, to be born again, to follow Jesus and live with His Holy Spirit in them. All we can do is pray for these people. So many today can say they are Christians, but their actions speak louder than words, they are instead slaves for Satan. They need our prayers.

Today the Our Daily Bread prayer sent to me said, “Born again? What does that mean?” asked the funeral director. “I’ve never heard of that term before.” Grasping the opportunity, the son of the deceased father explained what it meant through the words of John chapter 3. “It comes down to the fact that we are all born once into this world,” he said. “God doesn’t have a magic scale where He weighs our good deeds against the bad. God requires us to be born of the Spirit,” he continued. “That’s why Jesus died on the cross—He paid for our sins and made it possible for us to possess eternal life with Him. We can’t make it on our own.” In John 3, Nicodemus began to doubt if he truly had it all figured out. A trained teacher in the Scriptures (v. 1), he recognized that Jesus was different and that His teaching had authority (v. 2). He wanted to find out for himself, so he approached Christ one night to get the matter settled. Nicodemus must have accepted Jesus’ statement “You must be born again” (v. 7) and believed, because he helped prepare the Savior’s body for burial after He was crucified (19:39). The funeral director agreed to go home and read the third chapter of John’s gospel. Like the son who talked with the director, let’s take Jesus’ words to heart and share them with others as He helps us.

Are you born again? How can you share being born again in Christ with others? I have been sharing this with the unsolicited texter the other day, To convert, to repent, to change your ways, to live with the Holy Spirit, we all can call out to the slaves for Satan to repent, the change, convert, to follow Jesus, to receive His Holy Spirit in us, to live like true Christians. The truth matters. We do not need to sin, to be slaves, we just need to follow Jesus, be born in Him, following Him, reflecting Him, imitating Him, living with His Holy Spirit in us!  So lie, but we do not have to when we follow Jesus and live with the Holy Spirit! When we are born again in Christ! Truth matters!
